Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes Know: Conceptual foundations of the emergence of practice and theory of public management and administration. Basic concepts of public management and administration and their relationship. Be able to: Possess the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the theory of public management and administration. Use laws, regularities, principles and knowledge from the history of public management and administration in practical activities. Communication: To conduct a polemic regarding ways to improve the effectiveness of public management and administration in the context of the theoretical and historical foundations of its formation Autonomy and responsibility: Independently search and critically process the literature on public management and administration, be fluent in the methods of processing, analysis and synthesis of scientific information.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites and additional requirements 1. to know: the main characteristics of the historical process of the formation of states; the main features of the formation, functioning and transformation of the specified systems in one or another historical era, including on the domestic territory. 2. To be able to: single out the factors that allow to interpret the phenomenon of managerial activity as a social phenomenon and other related processes; to explain the essence and role of the phenomenon of "management" in the context of ensuring the vital activities of a person, society and the state. 3. To have elementary skills: factor analysis in the study of the phenomenon of managerial activity in the context of ensuring the vital activity of a person, society and the state; searching for information on issues of management (including in foreign language sources) using modern information technologies.

Assessment methods and criteria
Methods and criteria of assessment The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student in the process of mastering the material from all (three) parts of the academic discipline. The overall semester grade consists of points obtained for 1) classroom work 2) individual independent work 3) modular control work. All types of work in the semester have as a result: the maximum measure - 60 points; the minimum measurement is 36 points. Written exam - 40 points Examination evaluation takes place in written form. The ticket consists of 2 questions, each of which is evaluated on a scale of 20 points, which gives a total of 40 points for the exam. Thus, the final grade for the discipline (minimum 60, maximum 100 points) consists of the sum of the number of points for the semester (minimum 36, maximum 60 points) and the examination paper (minimum 24, maximum 40 points).
