Know: theoretical and methodological principles of social work in the context of the development and implementation of social policy at the state and local levels; have an idea about the features of design and program thinking. Be able to: identify social problems at different levels of deployment of social work; understand the process of integrating a social program in the context of public policy; formulate a goal and specify it in tasks by using various methods of problematization and determining a set of goals; clearly define the content, describe the main stages of development; master the methods and instruments of visual development and presentation of projects (“PowerPoint”, “Keynote”, “Impress”, “Slides”); prepare documentation in accordance with the described requirements.

The goal of this course is to introduce undergraduates to the individual components of the process of formation of state social policy. That is realized through the development, implementation and evaluation of social programs and social projects. When teaching the discipline, the theoretical, methodological and technological features of social programming are considered. Particular attention is focused on the practical part of the development of specific social projects by students, in particular: the definition of objects of social programming, mastering the methods of developing a social program and the stages of its implementation, understanding the processes of integrating a social program into the context of public policy, definition of indicators for evaluating the success of project implementation, development of the application and awareness of the ways of its implementation.

Lecture, seminar, practical tasks, discussion of problem questions

Oral answers, practical tasks, projects, exam. The maximum number of points per semester is 60 points. The form of the exam is oral, according to previously sent creative tasks and projects. The minimum number of points for admission to the get exam is 36 points. The number of points scored per semester is announced in advance.
