The discipline is one of the compulsory ones. It occupies a central place in the natural science training of a cultural studies specialist, integrating the knowledge of all natural disciplines into the humanitarian sphere. Teaching of this discipline is aimed at theoretical mastery of the basics of ecology by students and the acquisition of the ability to use the acquired knowledge, skills and abilities for environmental management of the whole variety of technological and social systems.

Lectures, self-study work

- semester assessment: 1. Control work 1: 20/ 12 points. 2. Test 2: 20/ 12 points. 3. Independent work (essay): 40/24 marks. Final control work: 20/12 points. - Final assessment: in the form of a test A maximum of 20 points can be obtained for the test, the minimum number of points for successful completion of the test must be 12 points or more. The final grade for the educational component, the final form of control for which is a test, is determined as the sum of grades (points) for all successfully assessed learning outcomes. Grades below the minimum threshold level are not added to the final grade. To obtain a positive final grade (60 points and above and "passed"), it is mandatory to write tests. Retaking a semester test to improve a positive grade is not allowed.
