For the successful implementation of the course project on the design and development of the components of telecommunication networks, a preliminary study of the following disciplines is necessary: "Higher mathematics", "Computer technologies", "Basics of the theory of automatic control", "Signals and processes in radio engineering", "Applied programming in telecommunication systems ", "Theory of information transfer".
Course content
A course project is an individual task of a student of higher education, which involves the implementation and protection of some engineering development, which can be defined as: design and development of component telecommunication networks.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course project on the construction and development of components of telecommunication networks involves the setting of a task by the supervisor, the study of the subject area by the student, the creative implementation of the assigned task under the supervision of the supervisor, and the defense of the course project.
Assessment methods and criteria
The course project is evaluated by defending a written report (explanatory note) taking into account the assessment of the academic supervisor. The maximum grade that can be obtained for a course project is 100 points.
