Learning outcomes
Familiarization of students with the main types of signals and processes in linear and non-linear radio circuits and methods of their theoretical analysis.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the laws describing the behavior of electric circuits, the main types of analog electronic devices used in radio electronics. To be able to use the apparatus of elementary and higher mathematics. Have basic skills in working with mathematical software packages.
Course content
Radio technical signals. Spectral analysis. Impulse and transient function. Operator method. Passive filters. Amplifiers. Generators. Non-linear circuits. Theory of random processes. Noises in radio electronics. Detection of random signals. Discretization of signals in time. Kotelnikov's theorem. Shannon's theorem. Sealing the communication channel. Digital filters.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures - 150 hrs, practical lessons - 76 hrs, laboratory work - 14 hrs, independent work - 240 hrs, total - 480 hrs.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester evaluation is carried out by writing two modular control papers, completing two colloquiums and defending laboratory works. The maximum number of points that can be obtained during the semester is 60 points. Final evaluation in the form of an exam - up to 40 points.
