3. to analyze cultural rights and human freedoms, forms and mechanisms of their identification, inculturation, cultural adaptation, taking into account their regional specifics. 4. to popularize the profession of culturologist, adhering to ethical principles 5. to organize and maintain communication with the authorities, research institutions, information and analytical services, mass media about the culture. 6. to communicate fluently in official and foreign languages orally and in writing to discuss professional issues, presentation of research results and projects. 8. to make effective decisions to solve complex tasks and practical problems of cultural development of society.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before starting this course, students should know the main stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process; basic cultural theories and methods of cultural studies, including methods of philosophy of culture, cultural anthropology, sociology of culture; basic culturological concepts and categories, main achievements of material and spiritual culture, their essential features; the history of formation and development of art. 2. To be able to collect and interpret information about the phenomena and phenomena of culture, cultural processes and events; apply the main terms, categories and classifications of cultural studies in the analysis of socio-cultural phenomena and processes; 3. Possess elementary skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting regarding political, economic, cultural and artistic events and phenomena;
Course content
Part 1. The mental sphere of culture. Personality mentality Topic 1. The concept of "mentality". Multiplicity of definitions. Topic 2. "Image of the world", "picture of the world", "model of the world", stable mental system. Topic 3. Mentality and cultural archetypes. K. Jung, Topic 4. Universal and ethnic archetypes of collective consciousness, basic archetypes of world mythology and their features. Topic 5. Mentality of the individual. Mental complexes, specifics of their awareness Topic 6. Social stereotypes and "verbal" mentality: detection in various spheres of cultural activity. Mental connections. "Theorem of Thomas". Part 2. National mentality. Archetypes and symbols of Ukrainian culture Topic 7. Worldview archetypes and a higher level of mentality (national and civilizational consciousness). Topic 8. National character as an expression of cultural mentality. Topic 9. Specific features of national characters: comparative analysis. Cultural analysis of ethnocultural stereotypes. Presentation of an independent study of mental determinants of cultural phenomena. Topic 10. Ukrainian mentality and symbols of Ukrainian culture. Topic 11. Archetypes and codes of political culture.

Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment of semester work: 1. Participation in discussions: 21/30 points. 2. Analytical work based on primary sources: 3 / 10 points. 3. Presentation of independent research: 12/20 points. 4. Intermediate control work: 12 / 20 points The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student in the process of learning the material from the entire educational course. The overall grade for the semester consists of points obtained for independent work (working with texts, researching values, writing the text of recommendations). All types of work for the semester have as a result: - maximum 80 points - minimum 48 points Final control work in written form - 12 / 20 points The final number of points for the discipline (maximum 100 points) is defined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester. The credit is given based on the results of the student's work throughout the entire semester and does not include additional assessment measures.
