Learning outcomes
PR1. Speak Ukrainian and English, including special terminology, to communicate with colleagues and the target audience and conduct a literary search. PR3. Have knowledge in the field of basic sciences (ecology, botany, dendrology, plant physiology, genetics and selection of ornamental plants, soil science of urban ecosystems, agricultural techniques of growing ornamental plants, design, formation and operation of components of garden objects, protection of ornamental plants from pests and diseases, mechanization of gardening, etc.) to the extent necessary for specialized professional work in the field of horticulture. PR7. Organize activities on the technology of growing planting material of ornamental grasses and flowering plants in open and closed soils and design garden and park facilities in accordance with modern requirements.

Course content
Conservation, reconstruction and restoration of garden and park objects "- one of the final disciplines in the process of training specialists in garden and park management, the main task of which is theoretical and practical training on the application of restoration methods on real garden and park objects of different functional purpose. During the course students get acquainted with the experience of domestic and foreign specialists in the field of reconstruction and restoration of garden and park objects, master methods and technologies of restoration of landscape objects, learn to conduct field surveys and comprehensive analysis of real garden and park objects and analyze results, select a range of plants to create sustainable plantations in the process of restoration work, develop project proposals for the reconstruction and restoration of landscape cultural heritage sites.
