            Course content

The course consists of sections on viral infectious diseases of humans and animals, clinical issues and principles of diagnosis of viral diseases. Particular attention is paid to the establishment of a preliminary diagnosis as the initial stage of diagnosis. Individual viral infections, their pathogenesis and epidemiology are considered in detail. The classification of diseases is based on WHO and OIE recommendations.
The course is designed to summarize the student's understanding of the clinical picture and pathogenesis of viral infections in humans and animals, as well as provide students with the ability to plan and conduct experimental work using various methods and techniques for diagnosing viral diseases in humans and animals, statistical processing and interpretation the results of the experiment (both obtained in person and provided by scientific laboratories and / or published in the scientific literature).
