1 Know the basic methods of sociological research.
2 Be able to apply the methods of sociological research in solving social problems and have the methods and techniques of sociological research.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know sociological theory.
2. Have basic methods of sociological research and analytics.
3. Know the theoretical foundations of sociological research, evaluation and sociological support of social projects.
4. Be able to read documents, work with sociological data, assess social consequences, formulate reasoned judgments.
5. Have the skills to search and select relevant information, use methodologies and conceptual foundations of sociological analysis; discuss, present and discuss their own position on the chosen topical issue.
Course content
1. Acquaintance with the specifics of the selected organization-base of practice.
2. Development of skills and abilities of information-analytical, research, diagnostic and consulting activities to solve current problems of society in modern conditions.
3. Consolidation of the ability to write analytical reports on the results of the work, as well as the formulation of conclusions and practical recommendations.
4. Acquisition of skills of work organization and direct work in a team during the organization and conduct of empirical or analytical sociological or social research.
5. Acquaintance with ways of the organization of research activity, methods and results of researches of base of practice.
6. Acquisition of skills of adaptation of theoretical positions, methodical tools, factual material for development of the program of own research and the analysis of the data necessary for performance of qualifying work.

Assessment methods and criteria
I. Attending scheduled meetings with the head of the department, current reporting on work; use of modern methods of collecting, analyzing, modeling and processing scientific information. Minimum - 5 points. Maximum - 10 points.
ІІ. Content and quality of individual scientific and practical tasks. Minimum - 25 points. Maximum - 40 points.
III. The level of mastery of practical skills and abilities in the specialty; written report on the internship. Minimum - 12 points. Maximum - 20 points.
IV. Report at the department and evaluation of results. Minimum - 18 points. Maximum - 30 points.
final assessment - differentiated test.
