            PLO 1. To associate oneself as a member of the civil society, the scientific community, to recognize the rule of law, in particular in professional activities, to understand and be able to use their own rights and freedoms, to show respect for the rights and freedoms of other.
PLO 2. To reproduce moral, cultural, scientific values, multiply the achievements of society in the socio-economic sphere, and promote healthy lifestyles.
PLO 3.To know and use economic terminology, explain the basic concepts of micro- and macroeconomics
PLO 7. To explain the models of socio-economic phenomena from the point of view of fundamental principles and knowledge on the basis of understanding the basic directions of the development of economics and economic policy.
PLO 9. To realize the main features of the modern world and national economy, the institutional structure, directions of social, economic and foreign economic policy of the state.

            1. To know: the essence of the main social and political phenomena that are the subject of sociological and political science studies; patterns of social and political life, social and political relations and processes, modern models of social and political order
2. Have basic skills: analyze social and political phenomena, critically evaluate them when they are presented in the media and social networks, provide them with interpretations from the standpoint of modern sociological and political science knowledge.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            The discipline acquaints students with politics as a social phenomenon, theoretical knowledge and form of activity, the evolution of political knowledge, the essence and classification of political systems. The study of the discipline analyzes power as a social phenomenon, the social rule of law and civil society, the peculiarities of the functioning of socio-political associations in the political system, trends in modern world politics.

            Semester assessment:
1. Oral report (RN 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2, 2.4, 3.1, 3.2, 4.1, 4.2) - 26-35 points;
2. Additions / participation in the discussion (RN 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2, 2.4, 3.1, 3.2, 4.1, 4.2) - 5-15 points;
3. Independent work: (synopsis of primary sources) (RN 1.1, 4.1) - 5-10 points;
4. Independent work: (analytical task, project presentation) (RN 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 3.1, 3.2, 4.1, 4.2) - 12-20 points.
The final grade in the discipline (minimum 60, maximum 100 points) consists of the sum of the number of points for the semester work (minimum 48, maximum 80 points) and the final test (minimum 12, maximum 20 points).
