Learning outcomes
- knowledge: about the senses and essence of the concepts of "mobility" and "movement", the main theoretical concepts that explain the concept of mobility; the role and significance of mobility research in sociology, as well as the essence and content of existing images of mobility and its social significance; - skills: ability to work with modern scientific literature, critically study the original source, use methods of analysis, compare and evaluate the methodological ability of different concepts and methodologies for studying social movements; - skills of organizing and presenting a research project; - analytical, research and exploration activities.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the history of sociological thought and the theory of stratification. 2. To be able to think analytically. 3. To have the computer and digital skills.
Course content
1. Social stratification and social mobility. Concepts and types of social mobility. Basic concepts of mobility theories. Classical theories of social mobility. 2. Moving in the social space. Senses and types of socio-spatial movements. Status movements in the social space. 3. Migration as a type of spatial movement. Concepts and types of migration. Sociological research of migration processes. 4. Tourist travel practices. The concept of tourism and travel practices. Sociological research of tourism.
