Learning outcomes Know: sociological, economic and political science approaches to the analysis of the phenomenon and content of the concepts of the state, power, economy and economic development; key theoretical results that define public management and regulation in the economy as a factor of social changes and economic development, reveal the connection between political and economic processes; features of key methods and tools of public management and regulation in the economy, their experience use, understand their political and social conditions, Be able to: diagnose the problems of the social order that restrain economic development and offer ways and means of institutional changes in order to overcome them on the basis European and world experience; analyze and reveal the content political and legal decisions from the point view of their influence on the economic development

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites and additional requirements 1.Know: the basic principles of the organization of state power and management in Ukraine, the foundations of regulatory and legal support for the activities of public authorities; basic philosophical, sociological and political concepts. 2. Be able to use analytical and statistical methods of processing information on the socio-economic development of the country, territorial units, the results of the activities of public authorities, work with the results of sociological surveys, national and international databases, publications in the media as sources of information about measures of state regulation of the economy and its results. 3. To have the skills of analysis, synthesis, processing and visualization of statistical, sociological and other data, work with the legal framework, design and presentation of data using Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.).

Methods and criteria of assessment – Semester assessment (MAX – 60 points / MIN – 36 points): 1. Oral survey, discussion (RN1; 2.1-2.4; 3) – 6 points / 4 points; 2. Modular control work (2 MKR, 5 points max. each) (RN 1; 2.1-2.4; 4) – 10 points / 6 points; 3. Individual analytical task (RN 3; 4) – 20 points / 12 points 4. Independent work (RN 1; 2; 3; 4) – 24 points / 14 points; The maximum number of points that can be received by a student is 100 points.
