Learning outcomes
It will be presented knowledge of modern methods of geological, economic and ecological investigation, cadastral assessment of man-made deposits. Ability to determine the features of geological and economic evaluation for different types of waste after mining and processing will be presented also.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of mineralogy and the geology of mineral deposits is needed.
Course content
The current information on geological and economic assessment of man-made mineral deposits, the ability to select methods for studying and further use of waste mining, processing and redistribution of minerals, taking into account the characteristics of objects in spatial and temporal terms.

Assessment methods and criteria
The results of students' learning activities are evaluated on a scale of 100 points. The evaluation is carried out according to the accumulative system and provides: 2 tests, each of which is evaluated at 20 points (a minimum of 12 points). The 40 points (a minimum of 24 points) are allocated for work in seminars. The final assessment is test (maximum 20 points, marginal 12 points). The final grade is based on the results of the student's work over a period of semester, as the sum of points for systematic work in seminars, the results of tests and knowledge of lecture information.
