Learning outcomes
1. know the defining concepts for modern and traditional logic and the relationship between them; 2. know the defining logical problems, analysis of concepts; 3. establish logical forms of reasoning; 4. demonstrate the ability to communicate freely in the language of specific concepts, problems, theories and techniques of logic; 5. present the results of solving practical problems and theoretical research in the form of reports, abstracts; 6. participate in professional discussions during classroom classes; 7. Demonstrate opportunities for further study with a high level of autonomy.

Prerequisites for selection are absent due to the basic and introductory nature of the discipline.
Course content
I. General characteristics of logic. Logic of statements. 1. Subject, method and meaning of logic. 2. Logical analysis of statements. ІІ. Topics of traditional logic 3. Syllogistics. 4. The concept. 5. Theory of argumentation. 6. The theory of non-demonstrative inferences.
