Learning outcomes
Know the tendencies of reforming the social security legislation of Ukraine. Be able to study the practical and legal issues of reforming and modernizing social security legislation, in particular the issues of legislation codification in the field of social security. Be able to prepare scientific information and analytical conclusions on the improvement of social security legislation of Ukraine.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the doctrinal provisions of scientific thought of Ukraine on the tendencies of formation of domestic legal science, as well as modern legal issues of improving the legislation of Ukraine. Possess the skills to do research on the issues of systematization of Ukrainian legislation.
Course content
Issues of modernization of social security legislation of Ukraine. Theoretical and practical issues of the evolution of social security legislation. Systematization of social security legislation. Social insurance as the main organizational and legal form of social security. Issues of legal regulation of state social benefits and services in Ukraine. Legal issues of social protection of vulnerable groups of the population in Ukraine.

Assessment methods and criteria
The maximum final score for this discipline can be 100 points. A student can score a maximum of 60 points for an exam, to which the points scored by a student during the semester are added, maximum 40 points. To score an overall positive assessment for the discipline, the score for the exam should not be less than 36 points. If a student scored less than 36 points for an exam, the latter is not added to the semester score. "Exam scores" are set to "0", and only the number of points scored during the semester is transferred to the "score" column.
