Learning outcomes
The course is aimed at students mastering the system of knowledge about the main categories of constitutional law and the ability to use the conceptual apparatus of the discipline; gaining fundamental knowledge of modern Ukrainian constitutionalism, constitutional and legal principles of human and civil status in Ukraine; study of civil society institutions; mastering the system of knowledge about the constitutional forms of direct democracy in Ukraine; constitutional system, powers, procedure for formation and activity of state authorities of Ukraine; gaining fundamental knowledge about the constitutional and legal status of the CCU; principles and systems of territorial organization of Ukraine; ARC status; features of local self-government in Ukraine; ability to apply the provisions of the Constitution and constitutional legislation of Ukraine.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of the general part of the discipline "Constitutional Law"; shaped ideas on the genesis of world constitutionalism, the content of the basic principles and categories of modern constitutionalism, on constitutional law as a branch of law, its qualifying features; knowledge of features, types, system of sources of constitutional law; formed ideas about the concept, nature and protection of the Constitution; ability to determine the essence and features of constitutional and legal responsibility; possession of skills of analysis of certain conditions provided by the norms of constitutional law, which are associated with the emergence, change and termination of constitutional and legal relations, finding possible ways to overcome and avoid conflicts.
Course content
The content of the discipline covers current issues of Ukrainian constitutionalism: features of the development of constitutional law of Ukraine as a fundamental branch of law; Constitution of Ukraine - Basic Law of Society and State; constitutional and legal status of a person and a citizen in Ukraine; constitutional and legal status of civil society institutions in Ukraine; forms of direct democracy in Ukraine; state power in Ukraine; constitutional and legal status of the CCU; basic principles and system of territorial organization of Ukraine; ARC status; features of local self-government in Ukraine.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Interactive teaching methods for lectures, seminars (discussion, position loans, situational games, debates, etc.). Express surveys, scientific reports, regulatory design, colloquia, testing (including Google Forms), independent work, modular tests are planned.
Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment methods - the type of work / activity of the applicant, which will assess the level of achievement of learning outcomes (testing, creative tasks, individual work, independent work, etc. and the minimum threshold after which a positive assessment is credited) - and evaluation criteria are communicated to applicants before beginning of the study of the discipline by a teacher who conducts seminars. At the ongoing and final performance evaluation are subject to assessment: the level of "Knowledge", "Understanding", "Application", "Analysis" / "Synthesis" / "Evaluation", demonstrated by the applicant. If the applicant is absent from the seminar for good reasons, he can work out the missed lesson at extracurricular time. Points are not awarded for missed classes. The maximum total number of points the applicant can score in the ongoing performance evaluation - 40, in the exam - 60. The final score for the discipline is set on a 100-point scale (ECTS) and a national scale.
