Learning outcomes
Tasks of studying the discipline are aimed at forming the following competencies: to present their research on the disposal of intellectual property rights, using primary sources and methods of legal interpretation of complex problems arising from this study, to argue conclusions; to develop and teach special disciplines in educational institutions, to apply modern educational technologies and methods.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites for mastering the discipline: 1. Know the concept and system of agreements on the disposal of intellectual property rights. 2. Be able to research and draw conclusions on the content of legal concepts, doctrines of interpretation of the essence of different categories of intellectual property and the category of disposal of property rights to the results of creative activity. 3. To have basic skills in preparing draft legal documents, taking into account the peculiarities of the practical situation and with the help of legal methods to resolve disputes arising in the field of intellectual property rights.
Course content
The discipline "Disposal of intellectual property rights" is part of professional training of specialists at Master in Law program, educational course "Intellectual Property" at the Education and Research Law School of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The main components of the discipline are aimed at providing students with knowledge of the basic principles of legal regulation of relations in the field of using the results of intellectual creative activity; grounds for acquiring legal protection by objects of intellectual property rights; formation of their skills to correctly interpret the content of national and international law on the acquisition, disposal and protection of intellectual property rights.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The study of the discipline involves lectures and practical classes; express survey/testing/essay (abstract) on the proposed topic; module test work; student's self-study in preparation for seminars; credit (exam).
Assessment methods and criteria
Types of ongoing performance evaluation can be: express-survey, report, research, testing (from the set of judgments to choose the right ones), case solving (tasks), module work (final test). During the ongoing performance evaluation at seminars, the following are assessed: the level of knowledge demonstrated by the student in the answer, activeness in discussing the issues of the seminar, regular work in the classroom, the results of self-study. The discipline is taught in two terms. 10 days before the beginning of the session, the teacher who conducts the seminars no longer accepts missing assignments. For students who have not scored the minimum threshold level of assessment, a final test is conducted.
