Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes are knowledge, skills and abilities:
know, analyze and critically comprehend: conceptual theoretical and legal principles of environmental policy of Ukraine; theories, principles, methods, concepts, strategies and tactics of national environmental policy in the field of professional activities and training; the state of legislative provision for the formation and implementation of environmental policy in Ukraine and the world; mechanism of legal provision and instruments for the implementation of the national environmental policy of Ukraine;
be able to: use specialized acquired knowledge necessary to solve tasks in formation and implementation of strategies and tactics of environmental policy in practical and research activities; when developing proposals in legislative and law enforcement practice;
be able to: teamwork, in particular on the development of strategic and tactical directions of formation and implementation of environmental policy of Ukraine.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites for mastering the discipline are:
successful mastering of the courses "Philosophy of Innovation Science", "Constitutional Reform", "Methodology of Research in Law".
Course content
The discipline is aimed at mastering the scientific and legal principles of formation and implementation of state environmental policy of Ukraine, namely: the theoretical and legal principles of formation and development of environmental policy of Ukraine and the legal mechanism for implementing its strategic and tactical directions; the place and role of environmental policy in the system of legal policy of Ukraine, legal features of environmental policy of the state, etc .; the institutional-functional and functional-legal provision for implementation of environmental policy of the state in modern context is considered, the ways of improvement of environmental policy for the purpose of its European and Euro-Atlantic integration are analyzed.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Taking into account the content of educational material and learning objectives, the following traditional and innovative learning technologies are used in the process of teaching the discipline:
lectures on the study of scientific and legal issues of the theory of legal principles of formation and implementation of environmental policy and the mechanism of its legal provision in Ukraine;
seminars presenting the results and determine the participation of each applicant in a collective research project aimed at developing strategic and tactical directions of formation and implementation of environmental policy of Ukraine and presenting the results of individual research proposals on issues of formation and implementation of environmental policy of Ukraine and its protection.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment of applicants' performance is carried out in the following forms:
participation in a research project aimed at developing strategic and tactical directions of formation and implementation of environmental policy of Ukraine and presentation of results at practical classes (up to 20 points);
preparation of an individual research proposal on problematic issues and its defense at a practical class (up to 20 points).
Applicants who, due to absence from the class, could not take part in the presentation of the results of the research project or the defense of the research proposal are given the opportunity to do so at extracurricular time.
Final assessment: exam.
The final score is the sum of the points during the semester assessment (up to 40 points) and the points scored during the exam (up to 60 points).
