Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of scientific - theoretical and practical material of academic disciplines taught to students of the educational level "Bachelor".
Course content
The task of the discipline is to form in students a holistic view of the anatomical - physiological organization of the central nervous system, the functioning of neural networks, general patterns and specific mechanisms of occurrence, development and consequences of pathological processes in the nervous system, common neurological diseases and disorders, theoretical principles of experimental neurology. Modern methods of instrumental diagnosis of diseases of the nervous system and methodology for constructing a neurological diagnosis are considered. Particular attention is paid to acquainting students with experimental approaches and areas of research on the mechanisms of common neurological pathologies, as well as with modern experimental models of common disorders and diseases of the nervous system.
