Course content
The discipline covers the basic principles of using viruses, or their fragments, to transfer recombinant DNA into the appropriate cell. The discipline considers various approaches to the creation of vectors for cloning nucleic acids and obtaining recombinant proteins based on the genomes of viruses of microorganisms (bacteriophages), invertebrates and vertebrates and humans, including hybrid constructs (cosmids, phagemids, fazmids, bacmids, etc.) and
features of their application, scientific and theoretical foundations of practical use of vectors based on human viruses for DNA therapy and
DNA vaccination
