Course content
The discipline is a free choice of the student (choice of blocks) in the specialization "Virology" highlights the system of skills on the basis of research on the causes, conditions and mechanisms of the disease. The discipline teaches to analyze the peculiarities of the distribution of epidemics by territory, among different population groups and over time. Covers issues in the use of data for the development of disease prevention tools. Teaches to make recommendations for the prevention and control of this disease, to form a forecast of the spread of the disease under study. The course is designed to summarize ideas about current and forecast future trends and directions of basic research in the epidemiology of viral infections for future career guidance.
