Course content
"Biochemistry of macromolecular compounds" is a discipline that considers a range of issues related primarily to the structural organization and biochemical role of complexes of macromolecular nature. These complexes provide the passage and regulation of the vast majority of cell life at the molecular level: activation of enzymes and other protein factors, biosynthesis and catabolism of certain substances, generation and control of intracellular transduction signals and responses to external stimuli (hormones, growth factors, other physiological and as well as pathological factors, etc.), mediate the response to adverse conditions - the impact of pathogenic factors, nutrient deficiencies, induction of inflammation and various types of cell death.
