Learning outcomes
Tasks of studying the discipline are aimed at acquiring the following competencies by the student: acquisition of specialized conceptual knowledge in the field of public administration; solving complex tasks and legal issues of improving national standards of national and international information security in the conditions of an extensive system of cyber threats; clear and unambiguous presentation of own conclusions on approaches and regulations in the field of information security.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites for mastering the discipline: 1. Know the concepts, features and types of information security under the laws of Ukraine; main types of information security threats, means of their detection and prevention; The main directions of formation and implementation of the state policy on information security. 2. To be able to provide general legal qualification for threats to information security, to determine the features of administrative and legal support of information security in certain areas of public activity, to define the main categories used in the field of administrative and legal support of information security. 3. Have basic skills in identifying and assessing threats to information security of various information infrastructure; drafting of basic administrative and procedural acts used in the field of administrative and legal support of information security.
Course content
The following issues are revealed in the study of the discipline according to the principle of architecture: 1) basic categories of information security; 2) the mechanism of legal provision for information security and its general characteristics; 3) information security of public administration entities and issues of its provision in Ukraine; 4) legal provision for information security of public information infrastructure; 5) legal provision of human information security; software manufacturers and telecommunications market players; mass media and problems of its legal provision. New knowledge are to be acquired on the legal analysis of existing information security threats in the national information, determining the specifics of the use of certain administrative and legal means of information security.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The study of the discipline involves lectures and practical classes; express survey/testing/essay (abstract) on the proposed topic; modular test work; self-study in preparation for seminars; credit.
Assessment methods and criteria
Types of ongoing performance evaluation can be: solving practical cases, short surveys, reports, preparation of draft individual or legal acts, module tests, intermediate evaluation. With the current type of evaluation during the seminars, the following should be assessed: the level of knowledge demonstrated by a student in their answers, readiness to discuss the issues of the seminar, regular work in the classroom, the results of homework completion. If a student is absent for good reasons, he can once complete the missed lesson through an oral interview in extracurricular time (teacher consultation time), solving a practical case, preparing a draft regulation or individual act. According to the results demonstrated the teacher can award up to 5 points.
