            Course content

The course examines the mechanisms of functioning and regulation of the functions of the hepatobiliary system in accordance with species specificity and pathology of the liver and hepatobiliary system in maintaining the dynamic stability of the internal environment in humans and animals in normal and pathological conditions.
Knowledge gained from the discipline "Hepatology" can be used in research of physiological sciences (circulatory physiology, basics of pathological physiology, physiology of ontogenesis, physiology of regional blood circulation, physiology of nutrition and digestion, etc.) and in other sciences (pharmacology, biochemistry and etc.).
