Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
To study the course "Environmental and economic processes and their modeling" the student must know the basic concepts of programming, differential equations, general algebra, mathematical analysis, computational mathematics, data analysis.
Course content
Acquisition of theoretical knowledge and acquisition of practical skills in the use of fundamental algorithms and methods in the construction and implementation of models of environmental and economic processes. The subject of the discipline "Environmental and economic processes and their modeling" is the study of mathematical models used in ecology and economics, the relationship between the components of the model, the specifics of using algorithms for processing data and analysis of results.

Assessment methods and criteria
semester assessment: 1. Test 1: PH 1.1., PH 1.2 - 20 points / 12 points. 2. Test work 2: PH1.3, PH1.4 - 20 points / 12 points. 3. Report: PH 2.1, PH 2.2, PH 2.3 - 12 points / 7 points. 4. Laboratory work: PH 2.1, PH 2.2, PH 2.3 - 48 points / 29 points. Semester assessment. The work in the semester consists of 2 parts. When setting points for the part, the following is taken into account: the score for the test work - 20 points, the work of students in the classroom - 60 points. The final control is carried out in the form of a test - 100 points. The test is based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester and does not provide additional assessment activities for successful students.
