Learning outcomes
To know the main stages of the history of the development of tourism in Ukraine. To know the essence of the basic concepts and terms of the tourism industry, comprehensive assessment of tourist resources. Know the most important works in the field of tourist resources. Know the tourist zoning of the territory of Ukraine. Know specific material about tourist resources of Ukraine. Know the peculiarities of tourist resources in the regions of Ukraine. Be able to analyze sources and works from tourist resources. To be able to analyze the tourist resources of the regions of Ukraine.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the most important facts, events and processes of the historical past of Ukraine. 2. Be able to critically analyze various information, independently select literature and work with sources. 3. Possess elementary skills of source criticism, historical analysis, establishment of cause and effect relationships.
Course content
The content of the course is divided into 2 content modules. Each content module includes lectures, seminars, independent work of students, which are completed by rating control of the level of assimilation of knowledge of the program material of the corresponding part of the course. Content module 1 (ЗМ1) includes topics 1–4, content module 2 (ЗМ2) includes topics 5–9. The results of students' educational activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale.

Planned educational events and teaching methods - lectures, seminars, practical classes, independent work.
Assessment methods and criteria
During the semester, the student's work is evaluated during each seminar (presentation, addition, participation in the discussion). The criteria for evaluating a student's answer are: • complete disclosure of the issue; • the logic of presentation; • use of basic and additional literature; • analytical reasoning, the ability to draw conclusions.
