Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastery of theoretical and practical translation disciplines according to the specified curriculum.
2. Proficiency in Ukrainian at a C2 level (native language) and proficiency in German at a C1 level.
Course content
The educational discipline entails introducing students to major international organizations represented in Ukraine and German-speaking regions, various genres of documents (multilateral conventions, agreements of international organizations, bilateral international agreements, international legal agreements) of international organizations, and the principles of their functioning in translation practice. It aims to develop knowledge of lexical, semantic, and stylistic peculiarities of documents of international organizations and the specifics of their rendering in the Ukrainian language. The discipline concludes with a credit examination at the end of the semester.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The ongoing assessment includes oral responses (frontal/individual/group questioning with final presentation of a written assignment), written assignments, individual project presentation, module assignments.
Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge assessment is conducted according to the ECTS system, which includes a two-level evaluation of acquired knowledge. This includes the evaluation of theoretical preparation – learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 – 1.4), accounting for 40% of the total grade, and the evaluation of practical skills – learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.2); (communication 3.); (autonomy and responsibility 4.), accounting for 60% of the total grade.
