Proficiency in Ukrainian at a level that allows you to communicate in all areas of activity (B2). Successful completion of the course "Practical course of Ukrainian. Professional level" in the 1st and 2nd semesters.

The discipline deals with the lexical, grammatical and stylistic systems of the modern Ukrainian language; linguistic and speech means specific to different styles of speech and the possibilities of using these means in the process of building models of a communicative act. The course is structured into 2 modules. The first one introduces students to the peculiarities of basic communicative intentions, tactics and strategies, and the second one improves their ability to understand the main communicative intentions of the interlocutor and use various speech strategies and tactics.

Forms of study: practical classes, independent work. Teaching methods: explanation of new material, conversation, review of a classmate's answer, independent work with scientific literature, analysis of communication strategies and tactics based on texts and videos.

An oral response, analysis of texts of different styles, module tests, and a test of professional competence. See the work program of the discipline for assessment criteria for each type of assignment.
