A master's thesis is a research paper aimed at studying a topical issue in a particular area of linguistics and should be the result of a theoretical and empirical study of the problem. The implementation of various types of scientific activities in the process of writing a master's thesis is structured into separate stages, such as: in the third semester - choosing a topic, consulting with the supervisor, selecting scientific literature; in the fourth semester - processing scientific sources, collecting material and its certification, writing the text of the study, appropriate formatting of the work, reviewing, pre-defense, defense. The quality, content, and defense of a master's thesis determine the level of a graduate's readiness for future professional, including scientific, activities.

Forms of study: independent work. Teaching methods: independent work with the library catalog, scientific literature, research material, consultations with the teacher.
