1. Know the methods of statistics and basics of international activity. 2. Be able to search and process statistical data, their visualization.
Course content
The curriculum consists of two content modules: module 1 "General Statistical Standards", which examines the modern global system of international statistics, the creation and development of statistical services and statistical units of specialized UN agencies, modern legal framework, standards and recommendations of international statistics, principles of construction and coding of international classifications, basic international classifications, concepts and methods of harmonization of statistical classifications systems ", which reveals the content of such standards as public finance statistics, monetary statistics, balance of payments.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The purpose of the discipline - the formation of students' knowledge about the activities and development of international organizations and national statistical services, their interaction in the development of a unified methodology of statistical observations, statistical standards and recommendations; creation of a global system of planning and coordination of international statistical activities.
Assessment methods and criteria
Forms of student assessment: (max. 100 points / min. 60 points) 1. Participation in work on practical classes (speeches, performance of practical exercises) - 25 points / 15 points 2. Modular test - 25 points / 15 points 3. Execution of independent work - 25 points / 15 points. 4. Final test - 25 points / 15 points.
