Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of disciplines "Botany", "Plant Physiology", "Biochemistry", "Microbiology", "Ecology", "Plant Growth and Development".
2. Know the basic methods of phytoindication and phytomonitoring research, the main sources of pollution and areas that are primarily needed
monitoring and phytoremediation measures, the possibility of using plants in phytoindication, phytomonitoring and phytoremediation and the principles of reasonable
use, preservation and reproduction of plants in natural conditions as the basis for the preservation of the gene pool of the biosphere, its biodiversity through the creation
protected areas and protected areas.
3. Be able to collect in natural conditions and record plant material for further laboratory research, evaluate and measure the main factors,
affecting plants, use plants in indication, monitoring and remediation methods.
Course content
The discipline "Phytomonitoring and phytoremediation" covers the scientific basis of phytoindication, phytomonitoring and phytoremediation of natural and man-made environment. Modern research methods and directions of environmental measures are presented. The global ecological problems of the biosphere and the possibilities of phytomonitoring research and phytoremediation measures in their solution are highlighted.
