Learning outcomes
To know the history of the development of anthropological knowledge and modern trends in anthropology. To know the current problems of modern anthropological science, methodical and theoretical foundations of anthropology. To know the history of formation, the current state and prospects of the development of Ukrainian anthropological science. To know the main stages of the formation of a modern anthropological type of man and the main concepts of anthroposociogenesis. To know the anthropological composition of the ancient cultures of the territory of our state. To be able to apply progressive and rationally balanced methods of mastering knowledge while studying thematic literature. Be able to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge when conducting scientific research.

To know the most important facts, events and processes of the historical past of mankind. Be able to: apply progressive and rationally balanced methods of mastering knowledge when studying thematic literature; to navigate in modern scientific literature, to select the most important information from this information, to be able to systematize it.
Course content
Historical anthropology studies the development and formation of a person of a modern anthropological type, within the framework of which a number of issues related to important aspects of the historical past of mankind are considered, namely: the place of a person in nature; the most ancient evolutionary origins of mankind; the line between man and animal; factors of anthropogenesis; physical type of primitive people; time and place of appearance of Homo sapiens; the beginnings of labor activity of primitive people and technological methods of manufacturing tools; the main stages of the development of thinking and language; ways and directions of development of the original oikumena; the influence of natural factors on the life activities of primitive people; the oldest forms of social organization; the birth of religious ideas, the development of primitive art, etc.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the modular rating system. The total number of points of the student is formed by the semester points obtained from all topics of the two content modules: - points obtained for modular control works (in the form of testing); - points received for independent work (for the preparation of abstracts and participation in the blitz survey); - points received for the final test (for written detailed answers). The content of the course is divided into 2 meaningful modules. Each module includes lectures and independent work of students, which are completed by a rating control of the level of assimilation of knowledge of the program material of the corresponding part of the course. The assessment of the success of students' knowledge is carried out during the semester assessment (test, blitz survey, essays) and final assessment (final test (credit)).
