Learning outcomes
PLO 10.Use tools to develop client-server applications, design conceptual, logical and physical models of databases, develop and optimize queries to them, create distributed databases, repositories and storefronts, knowledge bases, including cloud services, using web languages -programming.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the theoretical foundations of algebra and the theory of algorithms. Knowledge of programming and object-oriented programming technologies, especially in the field of file management.
Course content
"Databases and information systems" is an important discipline in the sense of acquiring theoretical and practical knowledge in one of the most relevant areas of information technology today, related to databases and knowledge bases. The purpose and objectives of the discipline is to get acquainted with one of the main scientific and technological areas in the field of computer technology "Databases and Information Systems" and master the technology of processing large amounts of data.

Semester assessment: 1. Active work on lectures, oral answers: PH1.1, РН1.3, РН1.4, РН2.1, РН2.2, РН2.3, РН2.4 - 6 points / 3.6 points; 2. Execution of tasks assigned to independent work: РН2.2, РН2.3, РН2.4 - 4 points / 2.4 points; 3. Test 1: PH1.1, PH1.2 - 15 points / 9 points; 4. Test work 2: PH1.3 - 15 points / 9 points; 5. Performance of laboratory work: РН2.2, РН2.3, РН2.4 - 20 points / 12 points. Final assessment (in the form of an exam): - the maximum number of points that can be obtained by a student: 40 points; - learning outcomes to be evaluated: PPH10; - form and types of tasks: written work.
