Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know - the basics of morphology, anatomy, physiology, plant taxonomy and the basic principles and rules of botanical nomenclature in the normative and special disciplines and field practices taught in previous years of study.
2. To be able - to be able to identify botanical objects in the volume determined by the normative disciplines taught in previous years of study; work with scientific and scientific-methodical literature.
3. Have basic skills in using keys to identify taxa of different ranks and skills of systems analysis.
Course content
The discipline is a basic botanical discipline that allows to form an idea of the place of higher spore and gymnosperms in the organic world and the most modern classification systems of these objects, their origin and phylogenetic relationships, structural and taxonomic diversity, role and importance for sustainable development nature and society, current trends and directions of basic scientific and applied research in the field of taxonomy of archegonia and related sciences. Its place in the system of other biological disciplines is most consistent with the concept of plants as a material for diverse biological research, similar to animals in zoology, and bacteria and viruses in microbiology and virology, respectively.
