Learning outcomes
Know the theoretical foundations of geodesy, higher and engineering geodesy, topographic and thematic mapping, mapping and updating, Earth remote sensing and photogrammetry, land management, real estate valuation and land cadastre. Know the legal framework for ensuring the rational use, protection, accounting and valuation of land at the national, regional, local and economic levels, the procedures for state registration of land plots, other real estate and restrictions on their use. Use methods and technologies of land management design, territorial and economic land management, planning of land use and protection, cadastral surveys and maintenance of the state land cadastre. Process the results of geodetic measurements, topographic and cadastral surveys, geological and geomorphological studies using geoinformation technologies and computer software and database management systems.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
In order to better master the educational material of the discipline, students must have knowledge and skills in the field of land relations and land use and protection, land valuation and real estate.
Course content
The discipline "Land Management and Land Use" provides knowledge of management theory, analysis of the institutional environment of land management and land use, development of projects of organizational management structures at different hierarchical levels, land policy strategies and concepts of GIS management system (GIS). 6). The discipline takes into account the latest trends, existing standards and approaches and methodologies for land use development planning and land management. It aims to consider the features of territorial planning of land use development and land management. An important component of this discipline is the study of legislative and regulatory framework and organizational structures at different levels of land management and land use.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control is carried out according to the modular rating system. During the 5th semester 4 practical works are planned, during the 5th semester 9 practical works (where students have to demonstrate the quality of acquired knowledge and solve problems using the methods and tools outlined by the teacher) and 2 written modular tests in each semester.
