PR01. Be able to perform a patent search, find and process the necessary scientific and technical information; independently apply for the invention. PR02. Know domestic and international copyright law. Be able to protect your intellectual property and avoid infringement of other people's intellectual property. PR03. Carry out technical and economic calculations of design decisions and analyze and evaluate their effectiveness, environmental and social consequences in the short and long term. PR08. Plan and manage research, scientific and technical and / or production projects in the field of biotechnology, based on current trends in science, technology and society.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the course "Philosophy". Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of professional biotechnological disciplines. 2. Be able to work with databases. 3. Have basic skills of public speaking.
Course content
The curriculum consists of three content modules and reveals the content of the concepts "methodology", "methodology", "research methods", provides an understanding of science as research, considers specific scientific, general scientific and philosophical levels of methodology. The set of methodological systems of modern philosophy of science is outlined. The structure of theoretical and empirical knowledge in unity with the methods of theoretical and empirical research is considered. Methodological problems of nonlinear science, which determine the state of modern methodology of science, are covered. The basic principles of the organization of scientific research, carrying out of biological experiment are also considered in this course.
