Learning outcomes
Students must know the basic concepts and categories of legal practice and consulting, forms and methods of legal practice and consulting, principles of legal consulting, principles of dispute resolution in the process of legal practice and consulting, be able to freely operate the basic elements of the conceptual apparatus in the field of legal practice and consulting in discussing and resolving problematic situations, make and justify their own decisions on the use of legal tools to resolve disputes or resolve complex situations arising in the field of legal practice and consulting, have the skills to prepare a legal opinion based on the practical situation and resolve legal disputes, skills of logical, critical and systematic analysis of documents related to legal practice and consulting.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Students must know the current legislation of Ukraine, in particular, the Laws of Ukraine "On Advocacy and Advocacy", "On Notary", procedural law, special literature, textbooks and manuals related to legal practice, be able to freely operate the basic elements of the conceptual and categorical apparatus in the field of legal practice and consulting in the discussion and resolution of problematic situations, know the basic elements of conceptual and categorical apparatus in the field of legal practice and consulting, basic skills in preparing a legal opinion taking into account the practical situation, skills of logical, critical and systematic analysis of documents related to the practice of a lawyer
Course content
The discipline is aimed at providing a real idea of the problems of the legal profession, the activities of lawyers, getting a complete picture of the development of the legal field, the labor market, the requirements for professionals in law and their behavior in general and in various segments of the market, on the specifics and content of the activities to be performed by a lawyer. In the process of studying the discipline, students master the following topics: "The beginning of legal activity", "Lawyer and Bar Associations". Legal Ethics and Career "," Individual Professional Activity of a Lawyer "," Activities of a Law Office and a Bar Association "," Setting and Solving Legal Problems in Professional Activity "," Legal Conclusions ". Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Teaching methods and learning activities in the study of the discipline are aimed at obtaining and mastering students' systematic knowledge of the concept, system and main categories of legal practice. At the same time, the mentioned forms and methods are aimed at forming in students a systematic understanding of the specifics of legal practice and counseling. This includes studying the legal framework (including international instruments), as well as mastering the system of skills and abilities necessary for a modern lawyer related to legal consulting, information analysis, the ability to identify problems of legal regulation of relations and effectively resolve legal disputes.
Assessment methods and criteria
Types of ongoing performance evaluation are selected by the teacher who conducts seminars, in consultation with the lecturer and in accordance with this program. Forms of student assessment include: express questioning; colloquium; report; testing (from the set of judgments to choose the right ones); module test work; case study. Final assessment is a written test. The minimum score to be obtained by the student on the appropriate forms of assessment during the semester is 24 points, the maximum score is 40 points. During the current performance evaluation at the seminars, the following should be assessed: the level of knowledge demonstrated by the student in response, activity in discussing the issues of the seminar, regular work in the classroom, the results of homework. According to the results of the written test, the student can get a maximum of 60 points.
