Students should be based on previously acquired knowledge of geography in secondary comprehensive school.
Course content
The educational discipline is devoted to the study of the basic concepts of the geography of recreation and tourism, zoning in recreational geography, and the creation of territorial recreation systems. When studying the discipline, special attention is paid to consideration of recreational conditions and resources, needs and recreational and tourist activities.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester evaluation: the number of points that the student receives during the semester is the sum of the points obtained during the evaluation of completed practical work, survey and execution of modular control works.
Organization of evaluation: a survey in test and written form is conducted after the completion of the teaching of each meaningful part.
Modular control works (MCR) are conducted in test form. Students who received less than the minimum prescribed number of points for the MKR will retake it. The recommended minimum for admission is 34 points. For students who scored a total of less than 34 points (recommended minimum) number, a mandatory condition for admission to the exam is to write essays on issues of missed or insufficiently mastered topics. The maximum number of points during the exam is 40, the minimum number of points added to semester points is 24 (60% of the maximum number of points assigned to the exam).
