Learning outcomes
Know the theoretical foundations of geodesy, higher and engineering geodesy, topographic and thematic mapping, mapping and updating maps, remote sensing of the Earth and photogrammetry, land management, real estate appraisal and land cadastre. Know the legal framework for ensuring the rational use, protection, accounting and evaluation of land at the national, regional, local and economic levels, procedures for state registration of land, other real estate and restrictions on their use. Use methods of collecting information in the field of geodesy and land management, systematization and classification in accordance with the design or production task. Process the results of geodetic measurements, topographic and cadastral surveys, geological and geomorphological surveys using geographic information technologies and computer software and database management systems.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
In order to study the educational material of the discipline, students must have basic knowledge in the field of geomatics, geodesy and land management, analyze the results.
Course content
The curriculum focuses on the study of organizational, institutional, technological and legislative support of spatial data infrastructures of different countries and regions. The efficiency of infrastructure functioning depending on the development of national cadastres (land, urban planning, forestry, etc.), regulatory and legal support is shown. geoinformation resources. The list of source cartographic materials for different levels of spatial data infrastructures of different countries and regions is determined.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control is carried out according to the modular rating system and involves the preparation of presentations on lectures and seminars (where students must demonstrate the quality of acquired knowledge and solve problems using the methods and tools outlined by the teacher), as well as modular tests. The final assessment is conducted in the form of a written and oral exam. The results of students' learning activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale.
