Р16. Skill to perform computer calculations related to chemical problems by using standard and special software, abilities to analyse and display results.
Р17. Ability to work individually or in a group, to obtain results within a limited time with an emphasis on professional honesty and scientific integrity.
Р24. Ability to use modern information and communication technologies for contact and collection, analysis, processing, interpretation of data.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
This course is based on knowledge of the school course of chemistry (inorganic and organic) and mathematics (equations and systems of equations, actions with degrees and roots, averages, natural and decimal logarithms, proportionality, functions and their graphs).
Course content
The discipline "Information Technology in Chemistry" is designed to give students an idea of the possibilities of using information technology in the study, conduct of chemical research and substantiation of research results.

Lectures (with the use of computer presentations), seminars, laboratory work, independent work
Assessment methods and criteria
Modular tests (written) + blitz-surveys at lectures (written) + home tests (in the form of case studies) + test work = 100 points
