Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know the main stages and the main specifics of the domestic and world historical and cultural process, to be able to find and interpret information about cultural phenomena from the era of primitiveness to the postmodern era, to apply the categories of cultural sciences in the analysis of social and cultural phenomena.
Course content
The history of Ukrainian culture and cultures of the peoples of the world from ancient times to the present is taught, about the genesis, stages, features of development and main achievements. The course introduces both academic and innovative concepts of human history from the cultures of the Ancient East and their origins to the multicultural modern world.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester control includes work in practical classes, including oral examinations, tests and surveys on the topics of tests. Evaluation is carried out on a 100-point system. The maximum / minimum number of points that can be obtained by a student during the semester assessment is 100 points / 60 points.
