Learning outcomes
To know the basic types of extreme problems and methods of solving extreme problems. To know the main modern achievements of the extreme problems theory. Be able to solve basic types of extreme problems. Be able to apply methods of extreme problems theory to models of complex systems and processes of different nature.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know the foundations of mathematical analysis, algebra and geometry, differential equations, operations research, control theory, decision theory. Be able to solve typical problems from these courses.
Course content
To teach students special mathematical methods and procedures of system analysis of complex objects and systems, to instill in them the ability to effectively use existing algorithms for solving extreme problems.
