Learning outcomes
Know the basic concepts and provisions of the constituent elements of the organization and functioning of notaries, principles of notaries, notarial process, characteristics of notarial proceedings, features of their performance depending on the nature of legal relations, main types, procedures, stages, results of notarial activities. Analyze, structure, model the activities of a person authorized to perform a notarial act in relation to the performance of such notarial acts based on the nature of legal relations, specific circumstances of the legal case, territorial and substantive competence of an authorized person. Develop and demonstrate solutions to a legal issue of an individual, inter alia, by collecting and interpreting information, choosing methods and tools of notarial activities, prepare draft documents of legal, procedural nature, resolve legal issues in the field of notaries and notarial activities based on their actual and regulatory framework.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Knowledge of the general provisions of the theory of law, civil, land, family law. Possession of perception skills, provisions analysis of sources of law and application of substantive and procedural law to analyze specific legal situations. Ability to analyze legal relations arising in connection with the performance by a notary of relevant groups of notarial proceedings.
Course content
Within the framework of the subject the concepts of notary, principles of its organization and functioning, theoretical modeling of notarial process, notarial legal relations, procedures of notarial proceedings are studied.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, seminar, self-training work.
Assessment methods and criteria
The share of learning outcomes in the final assessment, provided it is mastered at the appropriate level is as follows: learning outcomes - 1.1.-1.3. - up to 40%; learning outcomes - 2.1.-2.2. - up to 30%; learning outcome - 3.1.- 3.3. - up to 30%. Semester forms of assessment: blitz survey - from 2 to 4 points; colloquium - from 5 to 10 points, Case study - from 2 to 4 points; discourse - from 2 to 4 points; modular test - a maximum of 10 points. During the semester, after the completion of the relevant topics, thematic written independent tests with tasks and open questions are conducted. To determine the level of achievement of learning outcomes provided for in paragraphs 1, 2 and 3, students write a final test, and during the colloquium demonstrate the acquired skills, arguing solutions and recommendations provided by the conditions of the tasks.
