Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) knowledge of basic conceptual approaches, theoretical background, financial public activity, essence of such notions as “public finance”, “financial public activity”, “financial system of Ukraine”, “international financial system”; specifying the essence and peculiarities of financial-legal relations and financial-statutory regulations; ability to give characteristics of the main financial and legal institutions ant their contents; knowledge of the sources of statutory regulation of social relations in the field of financial public activity; knowledge of the main sources of international financial law and their contents; 2) ability to separate financial-legal relations from other social relations.
Course content
The study of the discipline covers the issues of: 1) public finance and financial public activity, financial system of Ukraine, international financial system; 2) specifying the subject and the method of financial law along with identification of the essence and the peculiarities of financial-statutory regulations and financial-legal relations; 3) notion, types, powers of public financial activity institutions and other parties to financial relations; 4) public financial control, financial liability; 5) budget law; 6) notion of legal nature of public revenues and public expenses; 7) tax law; 8) public credit and public debt; 9) foreign currency regulation, regulation of monetary system and accounting relations, mechanism of financial services regulation, banking law, right of issuing, virtual assets.

Semester assessment: express quiz (orally, in writing) – up to 5 points; colloquium (orally) – up to 5 points; reports and participation in scientific conferences, seminars, other academic events; participation in student research club of financial law department, research articles on financial-legal topics – up to 10 points; test paper -up to 5 points; self-study (the type is approved by the lecturer) – up to 5 points; writing activity, essays, drafting/solving problems – up to 5 points; SWOT-analysis – up to 10 points. The minimum score obtained by a student during the semester equals 24 points. The maximum score obtained by a student during the semester equals 40 points. - summative assessment: Credit/Exam (in written and oral form). Formative assessment: minimum - 24 points, maximum - 40 points. Credit: minimum -36, credit maximum – 60. Final grade: minimum – 60 points, maximum – 100 points.
