Learning outcomes
P05. Collect, process and analyze information in the field of geographical sciences for the needs of transboundary, national, regional and local complex environmental projects. P012. Understand the basic environmental laws, rules and principles of environmental protection and nature use and apply their knowledge to implement transboundary environmental cooperation projects. P015. Know the conceptual foundations of national, European and international monitoring and regulation of anthropogenic loads on the environment.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the main components of the landscape, approaches and techniques for their characterization and field description. 2. Be able to provide a comprehensive characterization of the landscapes of the territory, carry out the selection and critical analysis of information and cartographic data sources; 3. Know the basic quantitative and qualitative methods of geographical research, be able to apply them in production and scientific research activities; be able to model objects and processes using modern quantitative and qualitative methods and geoinformation technologies.
Course content
This academic discipline is dedicated to the study of the main techniques, approaches and methods of modern experimental and field studies of landscapes. It is designed to provide an idea of ​​the full cycle of research, starting from the collection of data and information and ending with the presentation of results. In the process of studying, students not only get acquainted with but also master in practice the planning of expeditionary and other most frequently used studies used in geography, applied landscape studies and related scientific areas.
