Successful mastery of the academic disciplines "Human Anatomy", "Physiology", "Pathomorphology", "Pathophysiology", "Propaedeutics of Internal Medicine", "Pharmacology", "General Surgery".
Ability to independently apply knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, pathomorphology, propaedeutics of internal medicine and other disciplines to solve specific scientific and practical problems; work with scientific and scientific and methodological literature.
Possession of elementary skills of systems analysis.
Course content
The educational discipline "Traumatology and Orthopedics" is a component of the cycle of training specialists of the "Master" educational level under the educational program in specialty 222 "Medicine". "Traumatology and Orthopedics" is an elective component of the educational program, during the study of which students acquire theoretical and practical skills and form professional skills for diagnosing emergency conditions in injuries of the musculoskeletal system and providing emergency medical care; principles of restorative treatment and rehabilitation of patients with musculoskeletal injuries; understanding the most common complications in traumatology and orthopedics and methods of their prevention; forecasting the average terms of restoring working capacity in typical injuries and orthopedic diseases, mastering current issues in traumatology and orthopedics.
