PRN05. To propose and organize ecological, biological and technological measures for the creation and maintenance of horticultural facilities, natural and cultural landscapes. PRN08. To organize the work of a team of project implementers. PRN09. To present the results of research in the field of horticultural facilities to specialists and non-specialists. PRN12. To create landscaping facilities for various purposes and select a complex of works for caring for plants in plantations. PRN16. Based on in-depth knowledge of natural sciences, to form an idea of ​​​​phytooptimization of anthropogenically modified landscapes, the features of plant interaction and the specificity of root nutrition in urban landscapes, as well as their climate-forming ability.

Full-time form

1. Successful mastery of the academic disciplines Landscape Phytoecology, Soil Science and Soil Microbiology, Greening of populated areas, Ornamental plants of closed soil with the basics of biotechnology, Urban ecology and phytomelioration, Decorative dendrology, Topiary art and the basics of composition, etc. 2. Ability to independently apply knowledge of urban ecology, soil science, decorative dendrology, floriculture, phytodesign, topiary art, and other disciplines; perform laboratory and practical work; work with scientific and scientific and methodological literature. 3. Possession of basic skills of systems analysis; methods of growing and propagating ornamental plants; elementary skills of creating phytocompositions and caring for them.

Teaching this discipline is aimed at forming in students a system of knowledge and skills regarding technologies of vertical landscaping of interiors and exteriors of buildings, selection and use of plants for vertical landscaping of interiors and urbanized landscapes, taking into account the peculiarities of their interaction and climate-forming ability. The peculiarities of vertical landscaping of interior spaces and high-rise buildings are considered (specificities of landscaping facades and roofs); special attention is paid to the specifics of urbanized landscapes and modern trends in the system of their vertical landscaping.
