Learning outcomes
5. To offer and organize ecological-biological and technological measures of creation and maintenance of objects of garden and park economy, natural and cultural landscapes.
8. Organize the work of the team of project executors.
9. Present the results of research in the field of horticulture to specialists and non-specialists.
12. Create landscaping facilities for various purposes and select a set of works for the care of plants in plantations.
16. On the basis of in-depth knowledge of natural sciences to form an idea of phyto-optimization of anthropogenically altered landscapes, features of plant interaction and the specifics of root nutrition in urban landscapes, as well as their climate-forming ability.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastery of the academic disciplines of the Bachelor's degree program.
2. Ability to independently apply knowledge of ornamental dendrology and floriculture,
urban ecology and phytomelioration, soil science and other academic disciplines to solve
specific scientific and practical tasks, perform laboratory and practical work,
work with scientific and scientific and methodological literature.
3. Possession of basic skills in growing and propagating ornamental plants;
creation of phytocompositions and their care; design of garden and park facilities.
Course content
The academic discipline "Zoning of urbanized territories by functional purpose and the specifics of their landscaping" is a discipline of free choice for students of the educational degree "Master" in the specialty H3 "Landscaping". The teaching of this discipline is aimed at forming in students a comprehensive understanding of: zoning of urbanized territories; principles of selection and use of plants for landscaping urbanized territories of various functional purposes, taking into account the peculiarities of plant interaction and their climate-forming ability; measures to improve the condition of urbanized territories; modern trends in the system of their landscaping.
