Learning outcomes
PRN10. Develop projects for landscaping, horticulture and landscape architecture; develop projects for the restoration and reconstruction of landscaping and cultural heritage; design winter gardens in the interiors of office and residential buildings, green roofs, greenhouse and hothouse complexes.
PRN11. Design areas of squares, highways and streets, pedestrian zones, right-of-way of linear objects, areas of country recreation and tourism, forest parks, areas of hospital complexes and resorts, sanitary protection zones, reclamation tree plantations, rehabilitation of disturbed landscapes of technogenic territories.
PRN12. Create landscaping objects for various purposes and select a set of works for caring for plants in plantations.
PRN15. Organize and carry out educational environmental protection activities among the population.
PRN16. Based on in-depth knowledge of natural sciences, form an idea about phytooptimization of anthropogenically modified landscapes.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful completion of the courses “Plant Physiology”, “Plant Biochemistry”, “Landscape Architecture”, “Landscape and Park Compositions”, “Floriculture”, “Soil Science and Soil Microbiology”, “Urboecology and Phytoamelioration”.
2. Ability to independently apply knowledge of plant anatomy and physiology, agrochemistry, soil science, landscape architecture, urboecology and Phytoamelioration and other disciplines, perform laboratory and practical work, work with scientific and methodological literature.
3. Possession of basic skills of systems analysis.
Course content
Teaching this discipline is aimed at forming a system of knowledge and skills for students in the formation of urban landscape space, organization of the spatial environment with natural materials, selection and use of plants for landscaping taking into account their bioecological characteristics and creating a comfortable environment for human life. The history of landscape art and modern principles of urban landscaping and trends in landscape architecture, the basic principles of composition of landscapes of garden and park objects are considered.

1. Modular test paper 1 (block of topics of Section 1) max. – 10 points, min. – 5 points (in the form of test and open-ended tasks)
2. Modular test paper 2 (block of topics of Section 2) max. – 20 points, min. – 10 points (in the form of test and open-ended tasks)
3. Presentations/reports – 20 points/10 points
4. Assessment of reports on the implementation of practical classes – 10 points (2 points for each work)/5 points
- final assessment: in the form of an exam
