Course content
The course examines modern means and methods of protecting horticultural objects from
pests and diseases, ecologically safe methods and means of development control
pathogens and pests of greenery, classification of chemical means of green protection
plantings, ways of their penetration into the plant body. The rules of work organization are highlighted
on the protection of green spaces at the facilities of horticulture and park management; rules and sanitary standards storage, application, transportation of pesticides and agrochemicals; measures of external and internal quarantine, the growing importance of biological and biotechnological methods is shown protection of horticulture objects from pests and diseases. Legal is under consideration regulating the protection of green spaces.
